Dr. Dawn Trimm (Jones), a native of Trinidad and Tobago, has been a resident in the United States for over twenty years. She founded the Christian Faith Outreach Ministry in 1987 and in 1997 became its senior pastor. The church name was changed to Beth’-el Family Worship Center in January 2003 under the leadership of Presiding Prelate Bishop George G. Bloomer of Durham, North Carolina.
With the conviction of Exodus 1:17, Dr. Trimm’ mandate is to “Save the Manchild Alive!” A woman of faith, intercession, courage and boldness, she is called to stand in the gap for the fatherless and the abused. Because of her own history of being sold to satan at the young age of twelve and battling the consequences of such an act, she is now equipped and experienced with an acute insight into the demonic realm.
Dr. Trimm is a learned individual having attained, among others, a degree in Accounting, a Master’s of Theology and a Doctorate of Theology (June 2006). She is a researcher of the Word of God and has written several books worthy of study in colleges, seminaries, schools of theology, and other leadership training environments. She has traveled nationally and internationally teaching the Word of God and is founder of The Dawn Jones Foundation established in Johannesburg, South Africa. Through this outlet, she sponsors, ministers to, feeds and clothes children.
As an anointed pastor, Dr. Trimm led the Beth’-el Family Worship Center and a congregation of ten people in the purchase of approximately twenty acres of land, three buildings and the construction of a church with the favor of God and no outside help from others. Pastor Jones’ voice in Douglas, Georgia reaches beyond the walls of Beth’-el touching the community as host of one of the highest rated talk shows aired daily on DITV.
A woman graced with virtue and strength, Dr. Trimm is married to Mack Jones and is the mother of four wonderful children and one grandchild (Nikki, Charles Jr., Christian, Marco and Jayden). She is also a foster parent to numerous children as her home has become a refuge of safety and a counseling center for many homeless and abused children and adults.
Dawn T. Jones understands that without God she is nothing and can do nothing and this realization has created a passion within her to bring relief to the underserved and to infuse an understanding to others that a life of knowing God is a life worth living!
